The purpose of this cross was to establish better domestication. There has been a trend with genetics from the last 10 years or so that have adjusted towards modern grow practices better than others, and those include gelato derivatives- especially Lemon Cherry Gelato, Runtz and other gelatos. This parent was selected to provide that stability- plant structure, tolerance of high PPFD, resistance to herm, favorable bud structure, ease of trimming, bag appeal, potency, responsiveness to crop steering, and aroma.

These crosses represent foundational work for Voyager that will form the backbone of our breeding process, which consists of establishing highly domesticated commercial clones, stabilizing them, and then using them to make creative outcrosses. Then we subsequently stabilize those crosses. The idea here is that we need to create stable lines the represent a high level of domestication so that we can broaden our search for novel expressions without losing valuable traits.

In a strange twist of fate, this clone happens to lend a very original, rare and interesting aroma profile- caramel, toffee, coffee and spice. Its delicious!
